NeigborDrop — Terms of Service

NeigborDrop is a community-powered platform that enables neighbours to help each other with everyday tasks such as store runs, errands, or short rides. NeigborDrop is not a gig platform and does not employ or contract helpers. All participation is voluntary.

• Users must be 18 years of age or older.
• Users must be Canadian residents with a valid phone number.
• Requesters must have a valid payment method in good standing.

NeigborDrop only facilitates matching between neighbours. We do not supervise, train, employ, or contract helpers or requesters.

Helpers act independently and voluntarily. They are not employees, contractors, or agents of NeigborDrop.

Helpers agree they are responsible for their own actions and waive any claims against NeigborDrop.

• Pre-authorize payments before tasks begin.
• Pay the final amount after task completion.
• Provide accurate instructions and respond promptly.
• Rate helpers once the request is finished.

Payments are processed via Stripe. Helper payouts are handled via Stripe Connect or Wise. Taxes apply to platform fees. Helpers receive 100% of the helper reward. Receipts must be uploaded for reimbursement.

All requests display the breakdown of costs:

• Item or ride cost.
• Helper reward.
• Platform service fee.
• Applicable taxes (e.g., HST).

Use the platform respectfully, safely, and legally. No impersonation, fraud, harassment, or unsafe behaviour.

• Illegal activities.
• Fraud or misrepresentation.
• Hate speech or harassment.
• Bots, scraping, or automated access.
• Commercial advertising.

NeigborDrop integrates with providers such as Stripe and Wise for payments, but we do not control their systems or policies.

File disputes within 7 days of task completion by emailing support@neigbordrop.com. NeigborDrop may issue refunds or credits at its discretion.

NeigborDrop is not liable for injuries, delays, losses, or misconduct. Use the platform at your own risk.

We collect minimal data and never sell personal information. Review our Privacy Policy for full details.

Accounts may be suspended or permanently removed for violations or unsafe behaviour.

These terms may be updated periodically. Continuing to use NeigborDrop after changes means you accept the updates.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
